Twelve years ago I sat at a hospital bedside trying to find a home for my own mother in under a week. I called every facility in the county. I toured homes that looked nothing like the brochure. I cried in parking lots. I learned what families were never told.

When I finally found the right home — a small, warm AFC house tucked into a quiet street in Beaverton — it changed everything. Mom thrived. And I knew this work was mine.

I became a licensed Oregon placement specialist the next year. Since then I've personally walked 100+ families through this same decision. I've sat at kitchen tables, taken late-night calls, and toured hundreds of homes so that families don't have to start where I started.

I built Ask Cass so every Oregon family has someone like me in their corner — at no cost, with no pressure, and with the full picture of every licensed home in our network.
